Hello, world!
I've just released version 1.0.0 of ccode, a small tool I wrote to make using Claude Code with various third party providers (such as DeepSeek, which is near-SOTA but way more affordable, or any of the models on OpenRouter) easier, alongside switching between them.
I was thinking of maybe iterating a bit more on the features before making a big announcement, but it seems that the related blog post I wrote Apple is increasing my cortisol levels oddly enough got some attention on HackerNews.
I'm still in the stage where I'm a bit shy about showing something so basic to the world, but that's okay - it can be downloaded for free and even though it's not proper open source for now, the source is available for anyone who wants to look at it, compile it themselves and maybe alter it for their own needs.
So, given all that, I'm putting it out there! It's getting pretty late at the moment, so I'll fix any bugs that may arise tomorrow. I was also going to wait until I'd hear back from Apple about the code signing, but that didn't happened yet - so the install instructions include how to tell the Gatekeeper mechanism to chill as well.
